Online Registration is Now Available

Avoid the lines this year and register your students for school online!  If your student is returning to CVUSD then just login to the Parent Portal and complete the "Data Confirmation" process.  If you are enrolling your child for the very first time within CVUSD, then use the Aeries AIR system to begin the process.

If your child is returning to CVUSD, and you do not currently have a Parent Portal account, please contact your child's school for more information.

I was very happy and pleased to visit John Kelly Elementary School and was very impressed with our teachers, classified staff and leadership as the calm and demeanor of their students during their drill was extraordinary. Happy Friday! What a Week!

As I conclude a very productive week representing you and our Board of Trustees, I feel very blessed to be able to serve all of you, our students and our families. As new members of the Digital Promise League of Innovative Schools and at the conclusion of a week of meetings with White House officials, U.S. Department of Education officials, FCC commissioners, and School CIO colleagues, it is apparent that our statue among those in the field of education has been elevated and is respected. In fact, the advisory board which selected us for Digital Promise membership commented that our application was the most impressive that they have ever seen out of thousands (there are only 57 out of 15,000 districts in the nation chosen for this honor).  READ MORE...
Heading to The White House

After a successful day lobbying the FCC to allow districts to use E-rate to connect students at school and at home, we are heading to the White House for an all day meeting with administration officials and U.S. Department of Education officials. This activity took place after school and was not related to any school activity or function. CVUSD Superintendent’s Contract Renewal

On September 23, 2014, the Coachella Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees approved a new employment contract for Superintendent Darryl Adams.
