State Superintendent, Tom Torlakson, visited Cahuilla Desert Academy on Thursday to see, first-hand, the iPad Pilot Program, part of the Mobile Learning Initiative that will be funded by Measure X pending voter approval on November 6th. After spending most of the afternoon with district leadership, and visiting Pilot Program classrooms, Torlakson offered his support by publicly endorsing Measure X.
